Ball Valves

Our FEP/PFA Lined Ball Valves are engineered to provide effective, precise regulation of fluid flows in the most corrosive and high-purity chemical services.1 Designed to the BS-5351 standard as a two-piece valve, this critical component offers exceptional performance and longevity where traditional metal valves would quickly fail.

Core Features & Materials

These valves feature robust bodies (available in S.G. Iron, WCB, SS 304, or SS 316) and internal balls, both fully lined with high-performance fluoropolymers: FEP or PFA. This lining, applied at a thickness of 3mm to 5mm, creates a seamless, chemically inert barrier between the fluid and the metal body.

  • Near-Universal Corrosion Resistance: The FEP and PFA linings are resistant to almost all corrosive media.
  • Optimal Temperature Range: Designed to handle temperatures from $-20^\circ \text{C}$ to $180^\circ \text{C}$ (FEP) or up to $230^\circ \text{C}$ (PFA).
  • Sizes: Available in a wide range from 15mm to 250mm.
  • Flanges: Designed to ANSI B 16.5 Class 150 specifications for easy integration into existing pipelines.

Guaranteed Quality and Testing

Every valve undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy and zero porosity in the lining. Testing parameters adhere to high standards like EN 12266-1:

  • Hydrostatic Body Test: Tested at $15.0 \, \text{kg/cm}^2$ after lining.
  • Hydrostatic Seat Test: Tested at $10.0 \, \text{kg/cm}^2$ after lining.
  • Spark Test: Conducted at 2$15 \, \text{KVA DC}$ to guarantee lining integrity.3

Choose our lined ball valves for reliable on/off service and optimal surface finish in your most demanding process streams.
